Product and Spray Application Course
Morrells offer a range of complimentary product and spray application courses to new and existing customers. These comprise of 2 modules requiring 2 full days' attendance for each course. The training focuses on the correct selection and application of a finishing system to various substrates within different user industries e.g. furniture, shop fittings, office refurbishment, caskets, flooring, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
The Academy consists of two modules:
Module 1
This covers the basics and gives grounding to successful finishing. The course covers stains and lacquer types and recommended applications. Basic forms of equipment including set up and fault finding are covered in detail with trainee participation encouraged.
Module 2
The use of two pack products, Waterbased, polyurethane and the Ultra High Solids Lacquer finishing systems are covered in this module. Also included is the set up and use of AAA (Air Assisted Airless), Diaphragm pump, HVLP and pressure feed systems.
Both modules include practical demonstrations with customer interaction, producing coated step by step panels which can be taken back to the work environment as a reference guide.
The courses carry a certificate of completion to each trainee including full reference notes and personnel contact numbers from the number one UK producer of industrial coatings.
