/VB2 Vapor-Blocking White Primer

/VB2 Vapour Blocking White Primer is 6x more efficient at blocking water vapour, meaning only 20% of water vapour permeates through compared to a regular waterborne primer.

8005/VB2 is a high build, minimal fibre raising system designed for spray application. /VB2 is designed for application to all wooden substrates. Its high filling capability and excellent opacity are combined with ease of sanding to provide an outstanding base for subsequent coats.

This product is also suitable for minimising grain-raising.

Supplied ready for use. Bespoke tints can be matched on request. Can be overcoated with Morrells waterborne and solventborne Fastmatch pigmented topcoats.

• Touch dry: 15 minutes @ 18°C
• Sandable: 30 minutes @ 18°C
• Recoatable: 30 minutes @ 18°C
• Packing: Overnight minimum, dependent on conditions
• Coverage: 40m² per 5 litres dependent upon the size, orientation and surface quality of the item being coated
• Typical finish: 1 - 2 coats /VB2 at 95g/m² per coat (dry film thickness ~ 38μm per coat) overcoated with Morrells waterborne or solventborne pigmented topcoats
