De-Nib/Long Life Finishing Paper

A120 – De-nib Paper

This is a very flexible (B/C weight) Silicon Carbide paper, with anti-clogging additives (stearate), noted by its traditional grey colour. The product is available in Rolls from 80 to 150 grit and in Sheets from 150 to 400 grit. The A120 is normally used manually, for de-nibbing primed or lacquered surfaces, prior to further coatings.

GC02 – Very Fine De-nib Paper

This is a very flexible resin bonded Aluminium Oxide paper on latex backing, with anti-clogging additives (stearate), noted by its whitish colour. The product is available in Sheets from 400 to 1200 grit. The GC02 is normally used manually, in place of a traditional wet/dry product, for de-nibbing lacquered surfaces, when a very high quality finish is required.
