FINISHING SPIRIT 316

A blend of alcohol and refined polish designed for use in the spiriting-out process. Its high alcohol content allows it to thin shellac special polishes, but not button polishes. The Morrells Woodfinishes range of polishes is formulated to allow the French Polisher to select the most suitable polish for durability and decorative effect on the timber being finished. These polishes are made from pure natural shellac dissolved in ethyl alcohol to provide improved film clarity, build, and ease of application. Thin with shellac thinners or IMS 99. These products should be applied using traditional French polishing techniques.
