SHELLAC THINNERS

A pale shellac-based sealing solution designed specifically for application over knots in timber. It helps reduce extractive staining by sealing in resins and improving the consistency of subsequent coatings. While it does not completely prevent resin exudation, it provides effective initial isolation for improved finishing results. Suitable for brush application directly onto knots prior to painting or finishing. Always assess timber suitability before use in exterior joinery applications.
