/381 Black Waterborne Lacquer

A high solids range of black waterborne lacquers ideally suited to vacuum, spray or dip application, offering excellent opacity and build. This range is for coat-on-coat application, no primer needed.

Similar in look and durability to our Pre-Catalysed lacquer. This type of product is formulated for use in the coating of mouldings, frames, architraves, skirtings and occasional furniture where a high degree of physical and chemical resistance is not required.

Supplied ready for use but can be thinned up to a maximum of 5% if required.

Our maintenance guide can be found here. Perfecta® Shield Spray can be used frequently to protect coated surfaces. Shield cleans the surface and forms protective film without altering the existing sheen levels. Just spray, wipe and lightly buff.

• Pack sizes: 5L and 25L
• Touch dry: 30 minutes @ 18°C
• Sandable: 2 hours @ 18°C
• Recoatable: 2 hours minimum @ 18°C
• Packing time: Overnight minimum, dependent on conditions
• Coverage: 40m² per 5 litres dependent upon the size, orientation and surface quality of the item being coated
• Typical finish: 3-4 coats of topcoat at 85g/m² per coat (Dry Film Thickness ~ 28μ per coat)
