/048 medicote® Antimicrobial UV-Cured Lacquer

This range of lacquers protects against the growth of microorganisms (such as MRSA, E.coli, A. niger) on their surface, with a kill rate of 99% within 24 hours. The risk of odour, and deterioration and discolouration of the film by microorganisms is greatly reduced through the use of antimicrobial agents in the lacquers.  The use of medicote® lacquers is not a replacement or substitute for proper hygiene and cleaning.  These products offer supreme chemical and physical roller coaters operating in either forward or reverse mode.  These lacquers are supplied ready-for-use and can be cured by means of UV light, utilising medium pressure mercury lamps (Hg) with an output of 80w/cm or higher.  The maximum curing speed will depend on the condition of the line and the total energy output of the lamps against line speed.
